Rhonda’s hunger for success and knowledge is attributed to God and heightened through her best friend, Ketrina Lewis, who passed away of breast cancer in 2004. Ketrina gave Rhonda a new look on life allowing her to see the importance of living life, loving herself, and the importance of helping to make a good life for people by doing good works. Currently she is working on a book, DEEP Thoughts: Living Life Again, which will serve as a motivational book for young people with low self-esteem. This is just the beginning for Rhonda, as she progresses in the talents and purpose for her life her writing inspirations will continue to reach and bless people worldwide.

about the meaning and inspiration behind Phoenix's Inspirations
about the meaning of Phoenix's Inspirations' Phoenix

The name “Phoenix” comes from the mythological story of the bird phoenix that is said to live for 500 years. At the end of its life-cycle the phoenix builds itself a nest of cinnamon twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix arises. The new phoenix embalms the ashes of the old phoenix in an egg made of myrrh and deposits it in Heliopolis ("the city of the sun" in Greek), located in Egypt. The bird was also said to regenerate when hurt or wounded by a foe, thus being almost immortal and invincible — a symbol of fire and divinity. Only one Phoenix can live at a time. The name “Phoenix” says a lot about the founder Rhonda Reece because she too has overcome many obstacles in her life to get to the purpose that God has position her on earth to accomplish. She has burned away the old Rhonda and has emerged into a new creature, as the Phoenix, to bring inspirations to the world therefore creating Phoenix’s Inspirations.

about the inspiration behind Phoenix's Inspirations

Phoenix’s Inspirations was founded by Rhonda B. Reece at the end of 2005 and was created into a formulized business in 2006. Rhonda has been writing poetry since she was in the 6th grade and decided that she wanted to display her artwork in a special manner. She started carving her poetry in copper metal, presenting her first metal pieces to the former members of Destiny’s Child (Beyonce’ Knowles, Kelly Rowland, & Michelle Williams) in August of 2005. The positive feedback that she received from the former members of Destiny’s Child and others who have received her work encouraged her to create Phoenix’s Inspirations.
